About Me

This page dives a little bit further into who I am, why I studied Media Communications and what I am striving for in postgraduate employment.

Thank you so much for clicking on my website, I hope you feel welcome and interested to learn a little bit more about me :)

I love meeting new people and attending/ hosting events to network and be a part of a community. My nights are spent in with those closest to me or out in Bath city centre for Commercial Music gigs and the occasional drink.

I LOVE baking in my free time. I have always been creative with a passion for art and writing which floods into my hobbies like baking and colouring. I continued this passion further into my university career as I became President of BSU Baking Society in 2024. It has been amazing to meet new people and bake with others to create a little community where bakers of all levels feel welcome. It has also been a great opportunity to put my planning and organisational skills to good use when running events. I am very proud of what we have done and am excited to be a part of a new community after university in a creative, media communications job.

I will graduate from Bath Spa University in July 2026 with a Media Communications BA and am eager to get into the media industry.

As I said, I have always loved writing which has continued into university where some of my favourite modules have been journalism and article writing related. I grew up wanting to be an author for many years as I loved storytelling. Learning about journalism has shown me how I can combine storytelling, creativity and making a positive difference all in one and I aspire to continue this. I am beginning to be published at the moment with articles in IMMEDIATE magazine and currently working alongside Gear zine with hopes to extend this network further.

Adapting and learning from society around me for 20 years has made me strive to make positive change for women, feminists and those impacted negatively by the harms of our social media algorithms. This drive has made me complete activism, exhibition and campaign modules where I have researched into various feminist issues including gender inequalities in medical research, the lack of equal sex education in school curriculums, the impact of a patriarchal system and most recently- the impact of toxic diet culture on social media for Gen Z women.

These projects are all showcased in this portfolio to show my aspiration to seek postgraduate work that makes a difference.
